Debate Class and Debate Club Information
Students can participate in Sutter Speech and Debate in two ways. They can enroll in the year-long debate class (open to seventh and eighth graders), ore they can participate in the club held in Room 205 once a week on Wednesdays from 2:30-3:20. All students may participate in tournaments provided that Mr. Baradat sees that they are prepared. For Speech Tournaments, students must have their speech memorized by the Monday before the tournament. Debaters must have their speeches researched and written at least two weeks before a tournament.
